HP Slate 7 Plus tablet with Tegra 3 processor arriving this holiday season

HP is planning to put a new Android tablet in its portfolio for the global market very soon. HP Slate 7 Plus is reported to be the upcoming Android tablet from the company with Tegra 3 processor performance under the hood. It will be a slightly better edition of the original HP Slate 7 which was launched earlier this year.

According to a report by FrAndroid, HP Slate 7 Plus is almost done with the development process and it will be first hitting the stores in the Europe around holiday season this year. However, price and the global availability date of the device are not available at the moment. But, it is confirmed that it will be a budget tablet offering similar to its predecessor from the American computing giant.

Features wise, HP Slate 7 Plus will be having a 7 inch display with the resolution of 1280*800 pixels. It will be powered by a quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor along with 1GB of RAM to provide superb gaming performance. It is expected to come with 8GB of internal storage along with microSD card slot to further expand it.

It will be also having a better 5MP rear and a front facing shooter. Other specs of the device include NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth and support for Miracast. Recently, HP launched its high-end tablet HP Slate 8 Pro with Tegra 3 processor in selected markets and it is expected to announce the launch of its alleged upcoming tablet in the coming days.
