HTC Desire 500 price revealed in India via listing at an online store

HTC is all set to launch its mid-range Android smartphone the HTC Desire 500 in India soon. It was earlier listed at the Saholic.com online store as an upcoming device and it was reported to be priced at Rs. 14,999. But now, the phone is listed at the Flipkart.com online store with the price tag of Rs. 21,490 but is out of stock at the store. This means that the company is soon going to launch the phone for around Rs. 22,000 in the Indian market.

  • The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 Quad Core processor along with 1GB of RAM memory

  • It comes with 4GB of internal storage, which is expendable via microSd card slot

Recently, the phone was available to pre-order at Snapdeal.com for the advance payment of Rs. 999. Now, it looks like the official announcement of the phone is going to happen pretty soon in the country.

In related news, HTC is planning to launch phones under Rs. 10,000 in the Indian market to target the budget conscious buyers. However, phones and the availability date of these devices is still a mystery.
