HTC Desire HD set for pre-order in India

It’s time to good news for HTC lovers. HTC mobiles had officially unveiled the Desire HD earlier this year. Midst of eagerness a leading online retail store Flipkart.com is taking pre-orders for HTC Desire HD for a pleasing lower price quoting Rs. 27,499/- being the official launch price quotes Rs.30,319/-

HTC Desire HD (successor of HTC Desire) hoods 4.3 inch LCD display with 480×800 resolution at 218 ppi. This could be the first phone to use the new 1GHz MSM8255 Scorpion CPU. The mobile has 768 MB RAM and 1.5 GB (internal) memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using a micro SDHC memory card.  The predecessor HTC Desire won the "Phone of the year" award at the annual T3 awards in October 2010.

HTC-Desire-HD-2HTC Desire HD is a slate shaped SmartPhone covered with aluminum body design, it runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system. It also offers an 8 Megapixel camera with with dual LED flash featuring face detection and geotagging capability, Gravity Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light sensor and Digital compass. The camera allows recording a quality video at 720p HD, which actually delivers a great performance. This smart phone supports 3G, EDGE, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for better data transmission. The HTC Desire HD is one of the two HTC devices to feature the enhanced HTC Sense experience with HTCsense.com services.

HTC Deisre HD enjoys a chock-full of Google mobile services, including Google Maps, Gmail, Google Calendar, YouTube and Picasa. Though, there is no official news about the firmware update for this mobile, it is anticipated that HTC gets an update with the newly launched Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
