HTC Desire Q launched

After the launch of HTC Desire P last week, HTC has now officially launched another mid range Smartphone HTC Desire Q in Taiwan. Both the mobiles were leaked in early March.

HTC Desire Q is a mid range smartphone with 4.0 inches, 800x480 pixels, Super LCD 2 capacitive touch screen running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating system. It has been powered with 1GHz single core processor paired up with 512MB RAM.  The device comes with 4GB internal memory storage expandable up to 32GB via Micro SD card.

HTC Desire Q packs a 5.0 MP rear camera with Autofocus and LED flash but lacks a front camera for video calling. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n). This device runs on 1650 mAh Battery. HTC Desire Q is also featured with Beats audio.

The device has been launched in three attractive colors  i.e. Red, Black and White. The price of HTC Q in Taiwan is set at around $ 234 (Approx Rs. 13k). There is no word on its global launch. You can consider Sony Xperia J which offers almost similar specifications at similar price range, if in a hurry to buy your next device.

HTC already has a decent range of smartphones in its Desire series such as  HTC Desire U, HTC Desire X, HTC Desire C, HTC Desire SV and recently launched HTC Desire P.
