In the latest leak on the Web it is learned that HTC is soon to launch its 5-inch phablet in the International market. We have seen the same has already been announced for Japan dubbed as HTC Butterfly J and in the USA it is called as Droid DNA. For the rest of the world it is to be named as HTC DLX (Deluxe).
HTC DLX will sport 5-inch SLCD 3 capacitive touchscreen providing a resolution of 1080p HD. The display is equipped with Gorilla Glass 2 technology to offer good strength and high scratch resistance. The phablet comes with 16GB on-board storage with 11GB free available storage for users.
HTC DLX is powered with a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Pro APQ8064 mobile processor and Andreno 320 graphics chip. It is also equipped with 2GB of RAM and runs on latest Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Users can upgrade the OS to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean whenever Google releases it. Sense 4.1 user interface (UI) is also included.
The device will be packed with 8-megapixel rear camera providing feature of full HD video recording. It is also equipped with ImageSense chip to help snap superior quality images. The phablet has 2.1-megapixel front camera for video chat and it too offers full HD video.
Beats Audio technology is included for better audio output. HTC is offering Beats Headphones with the device.
HTC DLX is fueled with 2020 mAh battery and it supports LTE, 3G and 2G networks.
The exact launch date and price of the phablet have not yet been officially announced by HTC.
