HTC Merge, emerged in to the market

HTC Mobiles officially announced the launch of HTC Merge to the US market. HTC Merge is an Android powered CDMA smartphone coming to the North American Operators.

The new smartphone HTC Merge comes with some delightful stuff like global 3G roaming and the perfect hardware profile. This is the first CDMA Android World phone from HTC. HTC Merge include a 3.8 inch touchscreen display, a 5.0 mega-pixel camera with LED flash sporting a (2592 x 1944 Pixels) resolution images. The camera can record a video at 1280x720 Pixels (720p HD).

HTC Merge is pre-loaded with Google powered Android OS v2.2 (Froyo) and supported with HTC ADR6325 processor and 3D Graphics hardware accelerator. The internal memory clocks 363 MB RAM and 4 GB storage. However, there will be an option of expandable memory slot. The major attraction would be the sliding QWERTY keyboard which will have a better user experience while browsing and chatting. HTC FriendStream™ will keeps you updated with the friends stuff at various social networking platforms  like Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and so on.



HTC Merge will be available from multiple North American operators beginning in spring 2011 and the pricing is yet to be revealed.
