HTC Officially Launched Android Based Incredible S in India

Taiwanese company HTC officially introduced the Android based Smartphone HTC Incredible S. However, this smartphone is already available in stores for quite a few days. The pre-loaded Android OS is v2.2 Froyo and can be upgradable to Android OS v2.3 Gingerbread.

htc_incredible_sHTC Incredible S features a 4-inch Super LCD Touchscreen with HTC Sense v3.0 UI. This smartphone sports a 8 Megapixel Camera with Auto Focus and Dual LED Flash at rear-side and 1.3 Megapixel camera at front side. One can record a video at 1280x720 (720p HD)@30fps in 3GP format and can directly upload the videos to YouTube with an integrated app. HTC Incredible S is wrapped with 1 GHz Scorpion processor (Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon), 1.1 GB ROM, 768 MB RAM. The external memory can be expandable using a Micro SD Card and up to 32GB. Apart from this typical hardware the UI supports personal stuff like email (IMAP, POP3, SMTP, Push Email) and integrated social networking services (Facebook, Twitter, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, Picasa integration).

Speaking about the connectivity and data transmission, Incredible S features GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth (v2.1 with A2DP, EDR), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA and 3G (HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps). HTC Incredible S is available in stores for Rs.26999.
