HTC One launched in India, priced Rs 42900

The much awaited HTC One is here. The company announced to launch the device in India for a price of Rs 42900 which is surprisingly lower than the price of company’s another flagship HTC Butterfly in India. HTC One will hit the stores by the end of this month.



HTC One sports a 4.7 inch, 468 PPI, Super LCD3 Full HD touch screen running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board. Powered by 1.7 GHz Quad core krait processor, the device houses a powerful 2GB Ram. It packs a 4MP camera with Ultra Pixel camera which HTC claims to take photographs better than 13MP snappers of other devices (More details here). It also features a 2MP camera on the front for Video calling. Connectivity includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA, NFC, Micro USB etc.

HTC One is one of the much awaited smart phone due to the Ultra Pixel technology it uses in its camera. The phone will go on sale almost along with Samsung Galaxy S4 in the Indian market, hence it will interesting to see how the device stands against another much hyped flagship.

The company has tied up with Reliance Communications to offer free 1GB Data for 3 months to early buyers.
