Jelly Bean updates are in demand with every Android user these days, and this time HTC has initiated the rolling out of Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) OS update for its mid-range flagship device, the One S.
HTC One S was one of the first devices to arrive with an Android 4.0 (Ice Cream sandwich) OS in the market and was then followed by the One X rolled out by the Taiwanese manufacturer almost at the same time. The One X tasted Jelly bean a long time ago but the One S was still left behind with an Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Thus, the update may be considered as a very late one as the device is an year old now.
The Jelly Bean update for HTC One S measures 598MB is size and is accessible from the Settings menu of the device. The users have been instructed to choose the setting menu and then further select the About Phone - Software update sub-menus to upgrade their device software.
The One S tasting Jelly Bean will be introduced to the HTC Sense 4.0+ User Interface. The update brings along with itself a bunch of new features which includes a better performing camera, better power management and a lot more.
The Android 4.1.1 Jelly bean OS version 3.19.720.100 is available over the air for download but we would suggest you to think twice before opting for your device upgradation as the software is quite large in size. But, if you have decided to let your smart device taste Jelly Bean, then you better connect it with a PC or Wi-Fi connection to download the update.
