|March 26 2013 |Mobiles

The much delayed device, the HTC One is finally set to be available for sales from this week onwards. The device was launched a few months back, globally, however, due to shortage in components; the sales had been delayed for quite some time.

The company launched an apology statement saying, “We appreciate our customers' patience and believe that once they have the phone in their hands, they will agree that it has been worth the wait."

Earlier launched as the HTC M7, the device has the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and a 4.7-inch LCD 3 capacitive multi-touch display with 1080x1920 resolution.

The device is powered by a 1.7GHz quad core processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The device has a 4MP rear camera with ultrapixel resolution and captures high resolution images that can be viewed in three second videos. The device also has a new Zoe editing feature by HTC. It has connectivity options such as 4G LTE, 3G, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, HDMI and GLONASS. It runs on a 2300mAh battery.

The flagship device from the company is all set to go on sale from third week of March. The device will first go on sale in UK, Germany and Taiwan; it will be launched in other countries thereafter.

The device has Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update available on it.

The device is expected to be launched sometime in April in the price range of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 45,000; however, nothing has been confirmed by the company in this regard as yet.
