HTC announced the launch of the Windows Phone device, HTC RADAR in India. The new HTC Radar is the first device to hit the Indian stores with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update. HTC announced the device along with the Microsoft launch event of Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango).
HTC Radar features a 3.8 inch S-LCD touchscreen display with WVGA screen resolution. The device powered with 1GHz Qualcomm single core processor and 512MB RAM. It sports a 8 GB of internal memory and runs on Windows operating system. HTC Radar comes equipped with a 5 Megapixel camera on the rear-side with LED flash and a front facing camera for video calling.
As aforesaid, HTC Radar will be the first Windows Mango device to hit the stores. However,the first Windows phone mobile with Mango update announced in India will be Samsung Omnia W. HTC Radar feature connectivity options like Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Micro USB 2.0, 3G HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps and A-GPS. Additionally, this smartphone comes pre-loaded with special Apps like HTC Locations, Microsoft office document viewer/editor.
HTC Radar will be retailed in stores for Rs. 23,990 starting from October end or November.
