HTC reduces price of Desire S, now available for Rs 15990

HTC has done it yet again. After slashing prices of many of its Android based smartphones like the Evo 3D, Sensation, Incredible S and Desire S it has brought down the price of Desire S smartphone which is now available at a gettable price of Rs.15,990.

Lets refresh the specifications of HTC Desire S:-

  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system

  • a 3.7-inch capacitive screen

  • 5.0MP primary rear camera and a VGa secondary camera for video calling.

  • 3G, Wi-Fi and DLNA support

  • 1.1GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB.

  • 1GHz Scorpion processor

  • GPS and a digital compass

HTC Desire S has sold really well from the time of its release. It was initially priced at  Rs 22,000 and then at Rs 18,839 after getting a price cut. It has yet again received a price cut and will now be available for Rs. 15,99o.

With new smartphones being released everyday the mobile market is so full of competition that HTC thought it best to reduce the price of its best selling device in order to maintain its hold on the market scene. With this new price HTC Desire S would be more in demand. Lets see if the other mobile makers follow the same lead and slash prices of their phones. Keep reading this space for more.
