HTC rolls-out Android 4.0 to HTC Sensation and Sensation XE

|March 9 2012 |HTC, Android ICS Update

As promised earlier, HTC started rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The first wave starts with HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE Android smartphones. However, this update is available for select countries across the globe. It was XDA who initially hinted about the roll-out. Now, HTC entered the play and officially confirmed the Android ICS update to HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE. According to the company, this update is limited and the broader availability will get started later this month.

The Android update for HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE will also give way to HTC Sense 3.6 UI. The interface comes with whole new buttons and menu styles to explore. If you're in the first wave, the download notification is said to be pushed to your device. Alternatively, users can also try their luck at "Settings>>>Phone info>>>Software updates>>>>Check now"
