HTC rolls out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update

Time to rejoice for several HTC smartphone owners. The company has started rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS update for the Indian market.

The update is being put in the market in two phases. One is meant to make one's phone ready for Jelly Bean and other to get the Jelly Bean goodness.

The first phase of the update is 1.25 MB in size. The main update of the Jelly Bean is about 357 MB.

If you have not received the roll out notification, you can check it manually by going to the 'Settings' of the phone and then heading towards the 'About' section. Next, click on 'Phone' and then on 'Software'.

The Jelly Bean update is a fairly large download, at almost 360MB, and it is recommended to do it via WiFi network.

The new update also features updated Sense UI of HTC to the One X called Sense 4+.
