HTC Salsa, the Facebook Phone landed in India

It's good news for the Facebook lovers and HTC enthusiasts as well. HTC Salsa debuted as a Facebook phone at Mobile World Congress 2011. This Facebook functionality phone is now available in India with a price tag of Rs.20990


HTC Salsa sports a 3.4 inch TFT Capacitive touchscreen display and with a 5 Megapixel camera with Auto Focus and Flash. The secondary camera with VGA resolution is placed on the front side. This allows the user to have a video conversation. HTC Salsa equips a 800 Mhz Processor, coupled with 512 MB ROM, 512 MB RAM and runs on latest version of Android OS v2.3 Gingerbread. The external memory slot allows the user to use a MicroSD card up to 32 GB.

Apparently, this smartphone features Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, microUSB port v2.0, 3G (HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 384 Kbps) and A-GPS support.
