Huawei Ascend P6, the slimmest smartphone in the world coming this year

Huawei is working on world’s slimmest smartphone Huawei Ascend P6 to launch this year. The popular Twitter account Evleaks has posted some images of the phone which are similar to the previous leaked photos. The latest leaked photos are suggesting that it will come in multiple color variants including white, black and pink.

According to reports from Engadget, Huawei device chairman Richard Yu also revealed in a post on Weibo that the leaked photos on Twitter are of the thinnest smartphone from the company the Huawei Ascend P6. The phone will come with a metal chassis body and its Android user interface will be enhanced with company’s custom Emotion UI.

Old leaked reports also suggest that the Huawei Ascend P6 will come with a 4.7inch 720p HD display and 2GB of RAM memory. It will be running Android Jelly Bean OS with Huawei Emotion UI. However, the other core details of the phone are not out on the web yet. But, we are expecting it to come with a powerful processor along with good internal storage capacity.

Huawei is planning to compete in smartphone segment with big brands like HTC, Samsung and LG by developing thin size devices to impress the buyers. Huawei Ascend P6 is expected to hit the smartphone market worldwide later this year. Some reports suggest that company might reveal the phone in its press event in London on June 18, 2013.
