Huawei Honor 3 officially launched in China, packs 13MP camera and quad core processor

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei has officially launched the Huawei Honor 3 Android smartphone in China. It is the third iteration of the Honor series smartphones by the company. It is a waterproof smartphone and comes with IP57 certification. Company has priced the phone at 1,888 Yuan in the Chinese market (Rs. 20,900 approx in Indian currency) and it can be ordered right away.

Talking about the features, Huawei Honor 3 comes with a 4.7inch touch screen display with the resolution of 1280 * 720 pixels and 315 pixels per inch density. Its display supports wet hands touch input but with only small droplets of rain or normal water. Its screen is also protected by the second generation Corning Gorilla Glass technology.

Company has powered the phone with 1.5GHz quad-core Huawei K3V2E processor along with 2GB of RAM memory. It is running the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version polished by Huawei’s custom Emotion 1.6 User Interface. It is a 3G device and comes with WiFi, Bluetooth and HSPA+ connectivity features. It is having 8GB of internal storage and comes with microSD card slot to expend the memory.

Camera features of the phone include 13MP rears and 1.3MP front shooters & it is powered by a 2150mAh battery. There is no official information if company will release the phone for other regions besides China but it is a mid-level device and it is highly expected to be launched in the other Asian markets too.

In related news, Huawei Ascend P1 3G version was recently made available to buy in India for Rs. 12,490. It is a dual core processor powered device that comes with 8MP main camera with dual LED flash support.
