Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue tablet Details Revealed

Huawei’s latest tablet, the MediaPad 7 Vogue’s specifications have been revealed by the company.


The device will be a 7-inch tablet with 1024x600 pixels resolution, running on the Android 4.1 jelly Bean operating system. The new MediaPad 7 Vogue will be offered in two models with very little difference.

This will be the latest edition of the MediaPad series to be launched this year. The MediaPad 7 Vogue is the successor of the Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite that was launched last year.

The two models will be powered by two different processors- one will be a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A9 quad core processor and the other a 1.5 GHz ARM Cortex A9 quad core processor. Both the devices will have 1GB of RAM. details of the memory options have not yet been revealed.

The device is also rumored to feature Huawei’s Emotion user interface. Further, it will be available in Wi-Fi only, Wi-Fi + 3G and Wi-Fi + 4G models options. Besides the 3G, 4G LTE connectivity options, the device also offers HDMI output and DLNA support as connectivity options.

The images of the new device was leaked online on Twitter.com. The device is expected to be priced in the same range as its predecessor, putting it in the mid-range category.

The device will be competing against 7-inch quad core tablets such as Spice Stellar Pad Mi-1010, Asus MeMO Pad ME172V, HCL ME Y3  and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 311 to name a few that have been launched this year.
