iBall Andi 5-E7 budget Android smartphone launches in India with a 5 inch display and 5 MP camera.
Now days, Indian smartphone makers are concentrating more on coming up with entry level Android devices for the budget conscious buyers. One of these manufacturers, iBall has launched yet another budget device in the country dubbed as iBall Andi 5-E7 for Rs. 6,999. It is going to compete against the Lava IRIS 456 Android smartphone, which was just spotted selling on the online retailers in the country. Both of the devices come with quite similar features.
iBall Andi 5-E7 comes with a 5 inch capacitive touch display with the resolution of 854*480 pixels. Its display is bigger than its competitor Lava IRIS 456 which comes with a bit smaller 4.5 inch screen. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor along with 512 MB of RAM. The phone comes with 4 GB of internal storage which is further expandable easily up to 32 GB using an external microSD card.
It is running on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and will remain on the same as no future OS updates will be there for the phone. It is a dual SIM device with GSM + GSM network support. Connectivity wise it offers 2G, WiFi, EDGE, Bluetooth and GPS etc. The phone is powered by a decent 1850 mAh battery, which can deliver quite nice talktime for sure.
The phone is released in metallic grey and gun metal color editions. So, if you are looking for an entry level Android smartphone, iBall Andi 5-E7 and Lava IRIS 456 are the latest good entrants in the market in this segment.
