ICICI Bank recently unveiled its upgraded mobile banking application called iMobile for android and iPhone handsets. With iMobile account holders can access their ICICI Bank account anytime and can perform transactions on your Savings Account, Demat Account, Loan account and Credit Cards. In addition, iMobile allows you book movie tickets, pay bills and recharge prepaid mobile connections.
For android phones, you can download the iMobile Application from the Android market. You cannot download this application from the ICICI download url or through web browser. Any android phones that runs Android version 1.5 and above will support iMobile application. To locate the iMobile application in android market you need to follow this path Applications >> Market >> Apps >> Finance >> Just in. To activate the application, you need to enter the PIN that you received from ICICI Bank. The iMobile application will automatically send an SMS to server to verify your credentials. The iMobile application is restricted to your phone number. Normal GPRS charges would be levied by your operator for the internet usage done by the application.
For iPhones, you can download this application from iTunes. In iTunes, change the country name to 'India' in your profile. After this, look for free applications under the Finance category. You can also perform a search for the keyword 'icicibank mobile'. iMobile app is compatible with iOS 3.0 and iOS 4.0 versions.
