Idea Cellular To Launch 3G Services Next Month

After Tata Teleservices, Reliance Communications and Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular is ready to join the bandawagon. The Aditya Birla group company Idea Cellular is all set to launch its 3G services across the country next month.

PTI quoted Idea Cellular's chief corporate affairs officer Rajat Mukarji as saying, "We are looking at launching 3G services next month. We are still working out on details."
However, he did not comment on the phases of launching 3G services in the circles where the company has bagged licences.
The company has won 3G spectrum in 11 circles for approximately Rs 5,768 crore.
