Idea Expands its 3G Footprints in Maharashtra and Goa

Idea Cellular - one of the largest mobile network provider is readying to extend their 3G services. The company took an initiative to expand the 3G services in more than 170 cities and towns in Maharashtra and Goa circle. Idea is ready to cover more place in the two circles. Apart from the metro cities, the company is now focusing on tier-2 cities and towns of different industrial backgrounds. The new expansion plan will connect widest range of customers in the two circles comprising of different backgrounds like industrial, agricultural and educational regions. The growth pattern will soon spread to the other regions where the company own the 3G spectrum licences. However, Idea will soon offer 3G services in non-licensed circles by entering to a MoU with other companies.

Idea has introduced Time based Billing plan for 3G services enabling users to avail high-end data services without worrying about the volume of usage. To promote usage, Idea has introduced 'sachet' pricing offering attractive trial pack as low as Rs.8/-
