Idea launches Idea lifeline for its prepaid users in Karnataka

|May 5 2012 |Idea Cellular

Idea Cellular has launched a unique and novel concept called the ‘Idea Lifeline’  for its subscribers in Karnataka. Through the ‘Idea Lifeline’ the users will get talk time credit for making uninterrupted emergency calls.

This credit amount of Rs.3 can be availed by Idea Prepaid users anywhere and anytime by dialing 50022 which is a toll free number from their mobile phones. This can be done in those cases when the users have have lost all balance in their phones and have to make an emergency call. The credited sum along with a nominal amount will get adjusted when the subscriber recharges the next time with any Idea top-ups or full talk time coupons.

Siva Ganapathi, Chief Operating Officer, Karnataka, Idea Cellular said, “The concept of Idea Lifeline comes from the insight that many customers sometimes need to make ‘that one’ urgent call and realise that they don’t have the talk time balance to do so. This is where Idea Lifeline comes in handy the customer does not have to go searching for a retail outlet to recharge and make the call. Idea subscribers can now instantly opt for the Lifeline credit and be in touch. I am confident that our emergency credit facility offers great benefits and convenience and will be appreciated by our subscribers.”

This sure is a very useful helpline facility for users of  Idea Cellular in Karnataka. Interestingly Idea Cellular has shown major growth in Karnataka circles for sometime now.
