iOS app store upgraded. Apple embeds more support for Siri

Now shopaholics will be able to buy and share gift coupons right from within the app itself, and more to this the Siri too will help buyers while they are shopping for Apple products.

After the iOS 6 operating system for iPhone, iPad, and iPod was launched last month, Apple came out with another new upgrade for its iOS app store application today.

This latest update brings new changes in the iOS app store that would definitely aid the shopaholics to shop easily from the app itself. This upgradation lets the clients now to buy gift cards and share them with friends and family members right from within the application itself

The function would come in real handy for buyers who are shopping during any upcoming festive occasion. Previously, gift coupons were available through physical stores only. Unfortunately, this novel functionality is restricted exclusively for Apple users in the United States only.

Apple on the other hand, has not said anything about the date and timing of the launching of this new functionality in other countries, including India, a country which is emerging as one of the larger global markets for Apple.

In addition to this, the new update also ushers in improved support for devices with Siri, the virtual helper.

So, finally Siri would also help buyers shop for Apple products. Something great and good going of it. Now iDevice user can ask, "Siri, find for me best maps apps at best price." In seconds this talking assistant will deliver the best search results.
