Josh Mobiles launches Josh Thunder smartphone with 5.7inch display for Rs.15999

Indian mobile phone manufacturer Josh Mobiles has added a new Android smartphone in its portfolio dubbed as Josh Thunder for Rs. 15,999. It is joining the long range of recently launched quad core processor powered smartphones in the Indian market from brands like Micromax, Karbonn & iBerry. It comes with a massive 5.7inch display and running the Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system version.

Features wise, Josh Thunder Android smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad Core processor. It comes with 2GB of internal storage, expendable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. Internal storage of the smartphone is quite low comparing to the rival Android phones offering at the moment. It comes with 8MP rear and 5MP front facing cameras. Rear camera on the phone can capture 720p quality HD videos and comes with LED Flash support.

It is a dual SIM device with GSM + GSM slots and one SIM slot can be used with a 3G networks. The phone is powered by a 2600mAh battery and claims to provide 5 hours of talk time & 48 hours of stand by time. Connectivity features of the smartphone include WiFi, Bluetooth and MicroUSB options.

Josh Mobiles has launched many smartphones in the Indian market including Josh Fortune and Josh Fortune A9. However, it will be tough for the company to attract the smartphone buyers in India with the latest offering which only comes with 2GB of internal storage and company hasn’t unveiled if it will be upgraded with the latest Android 4.3 version in the future.
