Karbonn launches budget Android smartphone A5+

Karbonn Mobiles, known for offering low budget phones in the Indian market, has now come up with another Android-based smartphone with a price tag of just Rs 4899. Christened as Karbonn A5+, it is a dual SIM smartphone for GSM networks. It runs on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread OS and is powered by 1GHz processor. It sports 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen and is equipped with 3.2-megapixel rear camera.


Available in white color, the display of Karbonn A5+ offers a resolution of HVGA 320 X 480 pixels. It comes with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and also supports 3G high speed Internets of up to 7.3 Mbps. It is fueled by 1420 mAh battery.

The phone has been currently made available with Infibeam.com and Shopclues.com online retailers. You may check your nearest retail counters too.

It is learned the Karbonn A5+ will compete with Micromax Ninja A57, Intex Aqua 4.0 and Lava Mobiles Iris n350 smartphones. The differences are not much among all these phones so everything depends on the actual performance of the mobile.
