Karbonn is on the verge of launching its first Phablet, the Karbonn S1 Titanium. The phone runs on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and has dual SIM functionality. The phone is touted to be Karbonn’s answer to Micromax’s A116 Canvas HD.
The Titanium’s dimensions are 66 x 134.6 x9.25 mm. The Titanium has a 4.5-inch High qHD multi-touch capacitive touch screen with a screen resolution of 960 × 540 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 1GB of RAM.
For connectivity the S1 Titanium offers 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP and GPS.
This Smartphone houses a 5MP rear camera with Autofocus and LED Flash and a VGA front camera for video calls. It comes with internal storage of 4GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via Micro SD card. A useful feature of the S1 Titanium is that applications can be installed and stored directly into the memory card which is useful for conserving internal memory.
The phone has a 1600mAH battery which gives talk time of up to 4 hours and standby time of up to 200 hours.
The handset will be available in Black and White colors. Details of launch and pricing have not yet been revealed, but we shall hear about it soon. it is assumed that the phone will be launched in the price range of Rs. 13,000 to 15,000.
