Mobile devices from Karbonn has launched Smart A12 at Rs.8,000. The device is built on 3G platform of US chip maker broadcom.
According to The Karbonn Mobile Executive Director Shashin Devsare “It is here with the partnership with Broadcom to bring in our premier 3G enabled mobility device that we seek to cater to the nascent needs of the young and aspiring consumer base of the country.”
As per the report, The Dual SIM supporting Karbonn’s Smart A12 has Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It has been powered by 3G Broadcom BCM21654G chipset and has 1GHz ARM cortex A9 processor paired up with 512MB RAM.
According to the sources, the Broadcom chipset includes a 2G/ 3G cellular radio(RF), a power management unit (PMU), and connectivity options including Wi-Fi, GPS, USB, Bluetooth.
Karbonn’s new Smart A12 features a 4.5 multi touch capacitive touchscreen Display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. The device comes with 4GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via Micro SD card. It boasts a 5.0MP rear camera with LED Flash and Digital zoom and also has a front camera for video calling. The device runs on a 1800 mAh Battery.
The device comes with pre-installed applications like Skype, Whatsapp, Facebook, Kingsoft office, G talk, Google Plus Messenger, YouTube, Gmail, News, Weather and Saavn Music etc.
