Lava IRIS 456 is the latest entry level smartphone from Lava priced at Rs. 7,888.
The Indian smartphone maker, Lava has introduced a new Android smartphone in the country for the budget conscious buyers. Dubbed as Lava IRIS 456, the new smartphone is priced at Rs. 7,888. The phone is available to buy at the major online retail stores like Snapdeal and Indiatimes.com. However, Lava hasn’t yet listed the phone on its website and its availability in the physical stores is not announced yet.
The latest entry level smartphone from Lava offers decent features in the budget friendly price range. It comes with a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display with the resolution of 480*854 pixels. Company has powered the device with 1.2 GHz dual core processor from unspecified chipset maker along with 512 MB of RAM. There is 4 GB of internal storage in the phone which is further expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card slot.
It comes with a decent 5 MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and also offers a 1.3 MP front facing camera. The phone is running on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and comes with dual SIM network support. It is powered by a decent 1650 mAh battery. Connectivity wise, it offers WiFi, Bluetooth, Micro USB, GPRS, Edge and 3G options.
The phone will be competing against the budget smartphones like iBall Andi 4.5Z, Huawei Y511 and Micromax Canvas Fun A74. These devices also offer quite similar features in the entry level price range.
