Lava Mobiles has added another feather on its cap. It claims to have come up with Intel-based smartphone, first time in Indian market. Dubbed as Iris N 320, the device is a Dual SIM Android phone. It is in the IRIS series, and close to its heel is the IRIS N 350.

The characteristics of the IRIS N 320 are similar to that of N 350, sporting a 3.5-inch capacitive multi-touch display with resolution of 330 x 480 pixels.

The Iris N 320 smartphone is powered by 1GHz processor and runs on Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) operating system. It is equipped with a 2-Megapixel rear camera supported by a LED flash to capture picture in low light. However, it lacks a front-facing camera, which exists in N350. There is no 3G support as it is found in IRIS N350, but it has several connectivity characteristics like WiFi, EDGE, GRPS and Bluetooth 3.0.

The on-board storage is not satisfactory. There is only 100MB interior memory, but it can be extended up to 32GB via microSD card. It is equipped with 256MB of RAM and fueled by a 1,400 mAh battery.

Lava has priced tagged IRIS N320 at Rs 3,999 and it is available with FlipKart and other online seller. It is available in two colours as of now - white and black.

Lava Mobiles is successful in the Indian market and it has expanded its operations in nearly all the states of India. Currently it has a network of 1,000 distributors and about 50,0000 retail counters.
