Lava launches Intel based Smartphone XOLO X900 in India

Lava International will be the first one to bring Intel Medfield smartphone to India. Like the Orange phone in Europe, the new Lava XOLO X900 is based on Intel's reference design, smartphone in India. Before looking at the device, the users probably get starred at the Android 2.3 user interface. With just the Capacitive buttons under the screen, it appeals to be an Android ICS phone.

The new XOLO X900 by Lava International comes packed with a 4.03 inch high-resolution LCD display with 1024 x 600 px resolution. The device powered with 1.6Ghz single core Intel® Atom™ processor Z2460 and bolstered by 400Mhz GPU. Assuring the quality of Intel with a logo, on the rear-side you'll find an 8.0 Megapixel camera and single LED flash above the shooter. Similarly, the XOLO X900 carries a 3.0 Megapixel front facing camera for video calling. Lava XOLO X900 is capable of recording videos at high-quality and playback 1080p video for continous six hours. Also, there is a HDMI port on one of the corners and micro SIM card slot covering an edge. XOLO X900 gets easily connected with other devices via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC. The new Lava XOLO X900 comes with with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology and supports 3G HSPA+ with the Intel XMM 6260 Platform.

Intel XOLO X900 by Lava International is expected to be available from the second quarter 2012. Also, it is expected that the device will get an Android 4.0 ICS update soon.
