“The Lava Iris 450 Colour comes with multiple swappable rear panels”

The Lava Iris 450 Colour, earlier spotted on the company’s website, has been officially launched in the country. The phone is available to buy online as well as in the brick and mortar mobile stores across the country for Rs 7,999.

The Lava Iris 450 Colour’s main highlight is the swappable multi-coloured rear panels it offers. You have the option to buy the smartphone with a rear panel of your choice in colours like blue, Pro Black, Tan Brown, Ivory White and Raspberry Pink. Its multiple back panel choices resemble the recently launched Moto G. The Iris 450 Colour runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor, paired with 512MB of RAM. It has a 4.5-inch touch display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.

Internal storage on board is 4GB, further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. For imaging it has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front shooter for video calling. Connectivity features of the phone include dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Fuelling the phone is an 1,800mAh battery, which the vendor claims will offer 8 hours of 3G and 9 hours of 2G talk time. Lava is also offering a free flip cover of the same colour as the back panel of your choice, and is including a free rear panel of a different colour with each purchase in the box.
