Lava has promised its fans that it will be  launching a new product every Friday and now, keeping its promise it has launched a new smartphone which has got its name dubbed as Xolo B700.

Xolo-B700-300x235

Lava B700 priced at Rs. 8,999 is part of the new B-series of Lava smartphones. The Xolo B700 is a low-priced smartphone that has been spotted selling on the website of online retailer Flipkart, but the device has not yet been listed on the Indian manufacturer’s official website.

Lava Xolo B700 sports a 4.3-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display and has got a qHD display resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It runs on Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system and gets powered with a 1GHz Dual-Core Cortex A9 processor with MediaTek MT6577 system chip along with 512MB RAM and PowerVR SGX531 GPU.

It flaunts a 5MP Rear Camera accompanied by a VGA Front camera for video calling. The smartphone houses an Internal Memory of 4GB that may be expanded externally up to 32GB via Micro SD card. The other specification of the Dual-SIM device includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and 3450 mAh battery.

Lava had launched its first Quad-Core smartphone, the Q800 some time back in the market. Some low-cost smartphones such as Xolo A500, Xolo A700 and Xolo A800 have already arrived on the store shelves. For the mid-ranged buyers, the company is offering the Xolo A1000 smartphone. It appears that the Indian manufacturer will soon take over the market with its wide range of products. Still, the essential requirement here is the injection of something new and advanced rather than stuffing the product catalogue with multiple similar releases.
