Lava to file over 100 patents in next 3 years

Lava International has plans to file over 100 patents in the field of mobile applications. The patents would be a result of the Indian manufacturer, Lava’s innovative research carried in the field of education and entertainment.

The company officially declared that it plans to increase its revenue from Rs 1000 crore to Rs 1400 crore in the next financial year with these patents.

Lava has been investing heavily in its Research and development wing and it has plans to invest around Rs 50 crores in the field of getting patents for mobile applications and algorithms. Lava has already formed a collaboration with Tata Mc Graw Hills for creating study materials.

The company plans to invest Rs 20 crore in the next 2 to 3 years for creating digital versions of Indian fairy tales and mythological stories.

The company is also planning to work upon secure communication in the form of enhanced security of e-mails. It will also be simultaneously be working upon ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
