To add to its existing product lineup, Lava has now rolled out the Iris 502 tablet in the Indian market. The company has placed the Iris 501 in the mobile-cum-tablet segment.
Lava Iris 501 features a 5-inch capacitive multi-touch display screen which bears a display resolution of 480x800 pixels. The Dual-SIM device runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. Lava has tremendously powered the Iris 501 with a 1GHz Dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM.
The Iris 501 packs a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus on its rear side along with a 0.3MP Front-facing camera for video calling. Lava has also provided this mobile-cum-tablet with an onboard storage capacity of 4GB that can be further expanded externally up to 32GB via Micro SD Card.
Lava has complemented the Iris 501 with a bunch of connectivity features which includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It has been fueled with a 2300 mAh Li-Po battery. To add to the uniqueness of the device, the manufacturer has provided it with Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient Light, Magnetometer and Proximity sensor features.
The Iris 501 from Lava is available in the market with an affordable price tag of Rs. 10,000. Lava has included a 4GB Micro SD card along with an additional back panel for the phone in the package as a treat for its customers.
