Press images of the upcoming Ascend G700 have surfaced recently. The images show the front as well as back of the device and hints that a new large screen smartphone-tablet which has got its name dubbed as Ascend G700 is under work at Huawei.
Relying on the rumored specs of the Ascend G700, we assume that Huawei Ascend G700 will sport a 5-inch LCD display with a HD display resolution of 720 pixels. It will run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system and will be powered with a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The other speculated features of the smartphone-tablet includes 4GB Internal memory and a Micro SD Slot.
Huawei is expected to roll out the Ascend G700 device in the budget to mid-range segment Indian tech market. The smartphone-tablet is anticipated to be available in two different models including one with WCDMA and another with TD-SCDMA support.
Huawei has already declared that it will be rolling out large screen devices under the Ascend hood. Recently the Chinese tech manufacturer has launched the Ascend Mate smartphone which it had showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 held at Las Vegas in the month of January. The quick specs of the Ascend Mate are: 6.1-inch IPS Capacitive Display, 1.5GHz Quad-Core Processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, Android 4.1 OS, 8MP Rear camera, 1MP Front Camera and a 4,050 mAh battery. At such a time the leaked information related to the company's upcoming device, again puts it in limelight.
