“A quick look at the box contents of the LeTV Le Max”

After huge success of Chinese brands like Xiaomi and OnePlus, which offered smartphones with specs too tempting for their prices, it became a struggle for new entrants to set their feet strongly in the Indian smartphone market. Some managed to survive… others not so much. However, the growing number of potential buyers in the Indian market is too enticing to not make an attempt and for the same reason the Chinese giant LeEco debuted in India with two smartphones dubbed the Le 1s (review) and Le Max, the former of which was launched at a very aggressive price. This brought the brand the attention it needed and consequently, within two months of its debut, the company has a large fan base in the country. The Le Max is a loaded flagship from LeEco priced at Rs 32,999, and here’s what all you get inside its retail box.

The Le Max ships in an understated black rectangular box, which says, “Letv” on top of the lid. Snapping off the lid gives you access to the smartphone itself. The first thing you’d notice once you pick up the phone is its heavy metallic build and the large 6.3-inch display, which makes the phone a little difficult to handle with a single hand. The phone lays on top of a plastic tray, which features a cut-out to hold the documentation securely. Temporarily attached with the documentation is the SIM-ejection tool. LeEco-Le-Max-unboxing09 Beneath the plastic try, you find two black cardboard boxes, one of which carried a 2A wall charger, a USB Type-C cable and a USB Type-C converter, while the other other one carries a 2-pin wall charger converting module. The Le Max checks almost all the boxes when we consider its specifications on paper. However, we’ll be reviewing it soon to gauge its true potential so stay tuned.
