Lenovo announces four new Android smartphones in India

Lenovo India has announced the launch of four new Android smartphones in India and all of these devices will be available to buy beginning October via Lenovo Exclusive stores as well as other major retail stores too. The newly launched devices are going to join the range of A-Series phones by Lenovo. All of these 4 new launched phones are targeted at different type of buyers with different budget. These devices priced between Rs. 5,499 – Rs. 15,999.

Lenovo A850



The most high-end phone out of these four is Lenovo A850 which comes with a 5.5inch IPS touch screen display. It is powered by a powerful 1.3GHz quad core processor and runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system version. It comes with 4GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It comes with 5MP decent rear camera for capturing quality photographs. It is a 3G device with usual connectivity options and has been priced at Rs. 15,999.

The second new smartphone, Lenovo A516 comes with a 4.5inch IPS touch screen display and powered by a 1.3GHz dual core processor along with 512MB of RAM memory. It is also running on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system version and comes with 4GB of internal storage further expandable via microSD card. It also comes with 5MP rear and VGA front facing cameras. It offers 23 hours of calling time and priced at Rs. 10,999.

Lenovo A516



The third device, Lenovo A369i offers a 4inch display and powered by the same 1.3GHz dual core processor along with 512MB of RAM memory. Android version of the phone is not yet disclosed at the moment but it is having 4GB of internal storage with microSD card slot. It has been priced at Rs. 6,999 in the country.

The last phone, Lenovo 269i is having very basic entry level Android smartphone features. It comes with a 3.5inch quite smaller HVGA touch screen display. It is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor and comes with microSD card slot to expand the memory. It is running on quite older Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread operating system version. It has been priced at Rs. 5,499 and will be offered in Black color choice.

With the launch of 4 new Android smartphones, Lenovo is now having a lot of choices in its portfolio in the country for different type of buyers. Lenovo is trying to grab strong market share in the Indian smartphone market by heavy marketing and advertising of its devices.
