The Lenovo K3 Note (review), launched last year, justified it’s tagline completely, and surely was the killer in the budget segment. A huge hit that it was, it could have been tricky for the brand to recreate the success the Lenovo K3 Note saw. However, with the launch of the VIBE K4 Note (first impressions), the company has managed to offer a promising successor, by loading the smartphone with a metal frame, a fingerprint sensor and impressive specs. While we review the device to test its capabilities as a daily driver, here’s a quick unboxing of the Lenovo VIBE K4 Note.

The K4 Note comes in a plain-looking box. The box is white and blue, and you’ll find the phone’s picture on top of the lid. Taking off the lid reveals the smartphone which comes clad in a protective transparent back cover. The first thing you notice about the smartphone is its premium looks. The dual front-firing speakers are hard to avoid, as well.

The phone rests on the screen guard and documentation, beneath which you will find a micro-USB to USB cable, and a two-pin charger rated at 2A. There are no earphones included in the box.

To recap the specs, the K4 Note comes powered by a MediaTek MT6753 processor mated to 3GB of RAM. The dual-SIM phone gets 16GB of expandable storage and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Lenovo’s Vibe UI on top. Camera configuration includes a 13MP primary shooter, assisted by a dual-tone LED flash, and a 5-meg front-facing shooter. The 4G enable phone comes backed by a 3,300mAh battery.
