LG G2 officially announced with 5.2inch 1080p HD display and Snapdragon 800 processor

After months of rumors and leaked reports LG has finally officially announced LG G2 flagship smartphone. It is the successor to company’s previous Android flagship device LG Optimus G and comes with a lot of improved features including brand new rear panel design. The phone is having great features to compete against the other high-end rival phones including Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One.


Features wise, LG G2 comes with a full HD 5.2inch True IPS display with the resolution of 1920*1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor which is one of the best system on chip available in the market for the smartphones. It is running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version and will be receiving future Android updates for sure. It comes with 16/32GB internal memory models and powered by a 2GB RAM memory.

An interesting change in the design of the phone is that company has located the Volume Rocker and the power buttons on the back side of the phone below the rear camera. Power button of the phone also acts as a quick launcher for camera application. It comes with 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and also features a 2.1MP front facing shooter.

It is powered by a massive 3000mAh battery and comes in Black and White color choices. The phone will be available to buy in South Korea then North America which will follow the launch in other key markets in coming eight weeks. However, there is no word on the pricing of the phone at the moment. We will update you more when it will be available to buy in the Indian market.
