LG is sending invitations for an exclusive launch event marked on December 1, 2011. LG was trying to play clean by not leaving any hints or clues in the invitation. However, the image file name quoted LG Nitro, probably could be the upcoming device name. The LG Nitro HD has long been rumored to the next upcoming device from LG. Also, several others claim the Nitro HD could be an AT&T variant of the Optimus LTE, which is on sale at Korea.
The new LG Nitro HD is expected to carry a 4.5 inch display with 1,280 x 720 HD resolution. The device comes with a dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM on board. Nitro HD will be running on Android OS (Gingerbread), which is a standard for Optimus family. Since, the event is marked on December 1st, there are another 9 days to go.
