LG may launch Optimus G on 27th Feb in India

The Korean Smartphone Manufacturers, LG is going to launch its much awaited LG Optimus G smartphone in India on 27th of February.

LG is sending out press invites for an event on 27th February at Mumbai. Though it is not mentioned any detail about the launch of Optimus G.

Recently, LG Optimus G has been spotted on Saholic.com for Pre-orders at a price tag of rs. 30,990. The online store promises to deliver the Smartphone in five business day.

LG Optimus G sports 4.7 True IPS HD Touch screen, which produces a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 320 pixels per inch. This Smartphone is powered by 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Quad Core Processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

It houses a 13 Megapixels Rear camera and a 1.3 Megapixels front camera for Video calling. It boasts 32 GB of internal storage capacity for storing your extra large Multimedia library.

For connectivity, it supports NFC, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 and other standard options. It is fuelled by 2,100mAH battery.

LG Optimus G will face a tough competition in Indian market. Recently, Samsung cut off the prices of its Note 2 and Galaxy S III. Another strong rival is Nokia Lumia 820, which runs on latest Windows Phone 8 Operating System.

Nokia is also rumored to cut off the prices of its Lumia devices to be a stronger competitor in the Smartphone market, which can be another problem for LG Optimus G.
