LG Officially Launched Optimus Pro and Optimus Net devices in India

LG officially announced the two smartphones LG Optimus Pro and LG Optimus Net in India. Though the devices are available in India for quite some time, today is the official debut to the market. Quite often, we notice this kind of delayed launches in India. This kind of news creates a lot of confusion in consumers mind, like the available products in market are genuine or the company is unaware of the availability. For whatever the reason, the devices are well traded in the market. So, we suggest the equipment manufacturers to wake-up before the device hits the racks.

LG-Optimus-Pro-and-Optimus-NetLG Optimus Pro and LG Optimus Net are the two new smartphones running Android OS v2.3 Gingerbread. Both, the devices backed with 800Mhz processor and an external memory slot with a threshold of 32GB via MicroSD card. While looking at the other commonalities, both the devices carry Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and FM radio.

LG Optimus Pro appears with a 2.8 inch Capacitive Touchscreen and a full house QWERTY keypad. The device comes in the successful combination of Touch & Type functionality. Users can read and write up to 16 lines as compared to 8 to 10 lines in the normal portrait screens. The keypad houses some dedicated keys which helps in multitasking. LG Optimus Pro is a stylish device appears with 12.9mm thickness and a little beefy in mass with 128 grams. However, this is somewhat acceptable when compared to many of such devices with other players.

Coming next to the LG Optimus Net code named LG P690 is an affordable Android smartphone from LG. This smartphone comes with a reasonable hardware specifications and stands to be a perfect competitor for Samsung Galaxy Y. LG Optimus Net is a full touch candybar device comes with 3.2 inch TFT Capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch input method. The device holds a 3.2 megapixel camera integrated on the back-side with Auto-focus and capable of video recording. Optimus Net with LG SmartShare function allows easy sharing of content with other DLNA-friendly devices. Also, the device comes with Social +, unique social media aggregator which enables the user base to get updates on popular events at social networking portals in a small widget appearing on the home screen. Both the device comes with a standard 1500 mAh battery with ample hours of talk time.

LG Optimus Pro and LG Optimus Net are priced at Rs. 9599 and Rs 10999 respectively. However, they come at a far better price than announced. Also, Reliance is running an exclusive 3G data plans offers for the users who purchased the devices.
