LG officially unveils Optimus G Pro

The Korean Manufacturer, LG has officially revealed the design and display of its much awaited Optimus G Pro.


LG Optimus G Pro is a much awaited and rumored Smartphone now. With so many leaks and images, the internet blogs were flooded with information about specs and design of this device.

With so many lined up Smartphones, LG is seemed to be working very hard to grab a bigger share in Android Smartphone market.

A Japanese variant of LG Optimus G Pro is already in the market but an international variant of this smartphone was much awaited from the manufacturers. Now it is officially out that LG Optimus G Pro will fall in a Phablet category sporting a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p IPS Touch Screen. It sports a curved glass, which according to LG, will produce a 2.5D effect when anyone looks at it.

It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Processor which will be supported by 2GB of RAM. For your storage needs, this phablet will have 32GB of internal memory, but it lacks an external micro SD card slot for memory expansion.

LG Optimus G Pro will be powered by 3140 mAh battery, for longer running hours on the go.

This Smartphone will be launched in late February which indicates that LG may showcase this Smartphone at upcoming Mobile World Congress 2013, going to be held at Barcelona, Spain.

Recently, LG has also announced the next generation of its affordable L Series smartphones. The LG L3 II, LG L5 II and LG L7 II are also set to be showcased at Mobile World Congress 2013.

These Smartphones will directly compete with Samsung's Galaxy Series.
