LG Optimus 2X gets Android 4.0 in India

The first DUAL core smartphone from LG, LG Optimus 2X has started receiving the much awaited Android 4.0 upgrade.


The update is of 686 MB. Users of LG Optimus 2X in Europe had recently received the upgrade and now its available in India as well.

LG had already announced that the upgrade process is in working via a news tweet recently. The company had officially declared that this upgrade for the smartphone will be available after the testing phase is over.

This update from the Korean manufacturer LG offers an upgrade to the OS and ensures enhanced performance with the new Optimus 3.0 UI.  It provides enhanced security with its its new lock screen and Face unlock feature.

With this upgrade the camera has also been enhanced with better features and quality for shutterbugs.

The upgrade also provides faster internet browsing experience. Users can get this upgrade through the LG Mobile support Tool.
