LG Optimus Vu II was showcased in the CES 2013 with improved features since its launch in South Korea last September.

The LG Optimus Vu II has a 5-inch IPS LCD touch screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, with operating system Android v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) , powered by 2GB RAM that has been upgraded from the earlier 1GB RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera and the 1.3-megapixel front camera. The in built memory for the phone has been increased to 64GB from the previous 32GB which is further expandable via SD card to another 32GB and powered by Non-removable Li-Ion 2150 mAh battery give up to 8 h 20 min talk time.

There are two notable new software features added to the device - One is called Panorama Note, which is just an expansion to LG's note-taking app, Quick Memo. Panorama Note allows its users to create extra wide 3:1 ratio memos and drawings directly on smartphone displays.

Panorama note has 5.8 times zooming capability and allows easy navigation allowing the user to scroll horizontally and vertically using a navigation tool on the screen and take "panoramic notes" that are wider. Quick Memo also has more pen-tip styles and more background pictures.

Secondly, the handset comes with Vu Talk now that lets the user create annotations on documents and photos on the device while sharing it with another Vu talk user on the internet. Both handsets can view each other's annotations in real time and are differentiated by separate ink colors.
