LG Revolution is Expected For Launch on May 26

The first Android 4G LTE device with wireless charging, LG Revolution is all set ready to hit the stores next week. LG Revolution was announced at the CES 2011 event for Verizon. According to source information, Verizon Wireless will launch the device in all channels on May 26.


The 4G LTE device LG Revolution comes with a 4.3-inches TFT Capacitive Touchscreen with Multi-touch Input Method and Touch-sensitive controls. LG Revolution works on CDMA network (CDMA 800/1900/CDMA2000 1xEV-DO/LTE 700 Mhz) locked for Verizon wireless. This smart device is equipped with 5-megapixel camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash at rear side and 1.3 MP Camera at the front side. The videos can be played at 1080p quality and video player can play (MP4, H.263, H.264, WMV, DivX, XviD, 3GP, 3G2) formats. The device pre-loaded with Google Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo), upgradable to v2.3 Gingerbread.

Looking at the hardware elements, we can say it is a powerful device. LG Revolution is equipped with 1GHz processor, Qualcomm MSM8655 Snapdragon processor coupled with an internal memory of 16GB. The external memory slot allows us to expand the memory up to 32 GB using a MicroSD card. Apparently, there comes a Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, 3G (Rev. A, up to 3.1 Mbps/ LTE, up to 12 Mbps), A-GPS support, 3.5mm Audio Jack.


There is no information related to pricing. Since, the device is network locked, we expect an affordable price along with a contract.
