LG unveils Optimus G Smartphone with Voice Activated Camera

LG Electronics, South Korean Firm has unveiled its latest and hi-tech Smartphone LG Optimus G with the pack of powerful hardware. The South Korean company is to make a place in the growing Smartphone market which has been captured predominantly by Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics.

LG was the major player in the mobile handset area but it remained very slow in the Smartphone category and has failed majorly to grab the confidence of customers from the market leaders Apple and Samsung. Company hopes the new Optimus G will give tough fight to Google’s Motorola, Taiwan’s HTC and China’s ZTC and Huawei.

optimusLG’s Optimus G runs on the Google Android platform and will go on sale next week in South Korea and later it will be launched in Japan and United States of America.

Optimus G is equipped with a 13 megapixel camera which takes snaps on the instruction of the user with talking to it. It has a 4.7” screen with high picture quality, above par from its nearest contenders Apple Iphone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III. Optimus G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 quad-core processor and it will work on superfast mobile networks and will be able to perform various functions at once. For example, one can send the text message or surf the web while seeing a television broadcast.

LG has unveiled its latest Smartphone Optimus G at a busy time for the Smartphone market. Optimus G nearest rival Apple Iphone 5 had booked 2 million orders in the first 24 hours, it was available for pre-order last week. LG hopes that new model will help to turn around its losing Smartphone business.
