Live Ambaji & Somnath Darshan Service On Tata Docomo 3G

Tata Docomo has announced to offer live Aarti of shrines like Ambaaji and Somnath to its customers using 3G services. The Live Darshan service can be accessed by both prepaid and postpaid subscribers across 14 major towns and cities in Gujarat, where Tata Docomo 3G Life services are available.

"Tata Docomo was the first operator to launch 3G services in the state of Gujarat. With 3G services our customers can access high speed data services on the mobile and what better can it be to also offer live Aarti of various shrines like Ambaaji, Shirdi, Kashi Vishwanath, Shani Shingapur, Mahalaxmi. Devotees can watch Live Aarti from Ambaaji and Somnath," commented Nipun Sharma, COO, Gujarat Circle, Tata Docomo.
The subscribers can access Live Darshan service by selecting the 'prayer' or 'Karaoke' option which is a video calling application on the mobile device. The subscriber can access this service by dialing a video call at 5333319 from their 3G-enabled handset and choose 'Ambaaji' or 'Somnath' shrine and witness live darshan. This service is accessible while on roaming within the Tata Docomo 3G network between the temple opening to closing hours. The video calls are charged at 15 paisa/ second.
