Magicon, which earlier collaborated with Aircel to launch its smartphones, has launched a brand new Android device, Magicon Ultrasmart Q50.

Magicon-Q50

The device poses a 5 inch multi-touch display and is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor with 512MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice-Cream Sandwich promising good speed and no lagging problem in the device.

It boasts just 2MP camera with touch-to-focus and flashlight as camera features accompanied by a VGA camera on the front for video calling. It boasts internal memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

On connectivity front it is a disappointment with no 3G but poses GPRS, Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspot. For better battery backup it has been provided 1650mAh battery. It is available at various online shopping portals at a price tag of Rs 7,999/-

The company had tried to keep the pricings affordable by compromising with features. However, we already have devices in the market with same or slightly more price posing better features, OS and even 3G. Magicon Ultrasmart Q50 will be getting some stiff competition from Lava Iris 501 and Micromax Canvas Lite A92.
